Hi, my name is Kirsten!
Back in 2017, I took my first photography class at Ole Miss and my passion for photography began. I started my small business as KF Photography, and in 2021 I married my best friend Thomas, and that's when Kirsten Simpson Photography was born!
We currently live in Benton, KY with our daughter Maggie and our sweet pup Blondie! I graduated from Ole Miss with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism in 2018 and then went on to get my Master's in Journalism in 2020. Currently I work for Community Financial Services Bank as their Digital Marketing Specialist, and meet with clients outside of the work day to capture their special moments. Out of all of the skills I have gained from my Journalism courses, my photography skill is something I am always eager to learn more about. I love to travel and explore new places, so if you want to capture special moments outside of Western Kentucky, I'm ready to roll!
fun fact: I'm a yoga teacher!
Aside from working for CFSB and being a photographer, I earned my 200-hour RYT certification through Baptiste Power Yoga Nashville in 2019, my 300-hour RYT certification in 2023, and have completed the Baptiste Institute’s Yoga Teacher Course. I feel that teacher training transformed my life and I want to help everyone experience yoga, and hope it will encourage others to go through a transformation of their own which they can take with them on and off of the mat.
